Don’t get involved if it doesn’t involve you.

Gay marriage has been a topic of controversy since the idea first came about. “A man and a woman are suppose to be united in holy matrimony”, and that’s how it’s going to be. Now I consider myself a very, not only Christian, but Catholic follower. In most areas of my life, I am quite conservative which should not be a surprise. The idea of dualism that has come to be known has become a way of life. We live in a world of opposites, and the “grey area” is a zone we steer away from. Society has created this fear of becoming different or opposing the norm, but who is to decide what the “norm” is?
If two people of the same sex want to be married, who are we to oppose them? In no way does it affect our lives, or the lives of people around us. It is their choice, their life, their happiness. The idea that Fausto-Sterling suggests in Sexing the Body, about having more than two sexes at first seems outrageous, but then later thinking about it, I decided..why not?!?
They were born that way, I believe God chose for them to be born the way they are, so why should be we try to make them who we think they should be?
